So, what do I have for you today? Oh, just a montage from the TV series KYORYU DAISENSO AIZENBORG (恐竜大戦争アイゼンボーグ; "Dinosaur War Aizenborg") dubbed in Arabic.
AIZENBORG is one of several anime/tokusatsu hybrid series that came from Tsuburaya Productions in the 1970s. It also may be the most famous, due to the fact that it managed to make it around the world. Besides the Arabic dub, there was also an Italian translation, and even an American release. The latter, the (in)famous ATTACK OF THE SUPER MONSTERS, was a re-edited movie in English that only culled material from episodes without the giant hero. Ergo, the U.S. was deprived of perhaps the most awesome segment of the whole show.
You may also notice a short segment in there with a fellow named Tatsumi Nikamoto. Nikamoto (二家本辰巳 - "Nikamoto Tatsumi") is the stuntman who played the giant hero, but that's far from his only role in tokusatsu productions. Besides his duties in other Tsuburaya shows like ULTRAMAN LEO, he's also the guy who donned the suit of Titanosaurus in a little movie called TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA. Of course, for years, we were given the reading of "Tatsumi Fuyamoto" for his name. Pretty sure I did that a couple of times myself, so I gladly recognize him with his actual name here.
